Divisi Akomodasi

This article is dedicated for every member of Divisi Akomodasi Ganesha Music Event 2013.

20th April was such a hectic day for me. There were 3 events which were held on that day. They were MRI Info Day, Retreat Agama, and Ganesha Music Event (GME) 2013. I was appointed as MC in MRI Info Day, main committee in GME, and participant in Retreat . So, it was quite hard to handle these three events on the exact same day. Then, I had decided to join the Retreat Agama (because it was an obligation!).

Knowing that I wouldn't be able to be there at GME was so torturing. If only I could do cloning or  fragmenting myself like the amoeba, I definitely would do that! To be honest, it gave so much pressure on me.. I wasn't an activist at Apres. Me also missed couples of the main committee meetings. At last, I gotta tell them that I would be absent in the main event (GME). It was hard to do and yet still a burden after all. But the hardest part is to tell the member of my division. -I was Ketua Divisi Akomodasi that took care of the wellfare of all the committee and artists, including consumption and transport-

It was on Monday which was 5 days away from the D-Day, I decided to tell them.. We spent the rest 5 days for meeting and preparing everything, talking about the progress, and making the worst scenario to be anticipated. In the meeting, there were still so many question and uncertainty. The only certain thing we had was the last year's LPJ -_-. 

Fortunately, I thanked God for giving me such a marvelous members! They had an undoubtly willing to help, abstinence tired, hard work, and always there whenever I needed. I am so affected for their presence and determination. One day before GME, almost all of my members spent the night at campus. Waked up with those pillow faces and continued doing their duty. -FYI, knowing they would be kept overnight, I obliged all of them to bring tooth brush + tooth paste and also face shop :p-

After doing the last meeting on Saturday morning, I gotta go for Retreat and left them. From that second on until the midnight, I couldn't stop praying that everything's gonna run well. By holding the rundown and teklp (teknis lapangan) and stand by on my phone were the only way for me to control.. 

Finally, everything went so right. There was no big deal. Wholeheartedly, I thank you for every sweat, time, and hard work. So proud of you, guys :)

Cinta Satu Arah

Finally, I got back to my daily activity as an announcer at Radio Kampus ITB after 3 weeks of absence. Every Monday (which is my broadcast schedule), there were always be some people asking me weather that day I'll be announcing or not. It was so hard to say, "I won't be announcing tonight" because I myself am so in love with this radio/broadcasting thing. However, I'm so glad to have such a loyal listeners who are longing for my broadcast. That's why I was so excited about my last broadcast. I came even earlier than usual. LOL. 

Well.. Yesterday, I delivered an article which I just found from the internet. Somehow, I thought this was a good article that my listeners might be like. And so (as usual), I'm posting it here..

Cinta Satu Arah

Inilah alasan saya, benar-benar meyakini bahwa cinta sejati itu hanya satu arah, tidak lebih.

Cinta satu arah bukanlah cintaku padamu. Yang aku yakini cinta itu suci dan tak mungkin tumbuh dengan serta merta dalam hati. Bisa saja Tuhan yang menanamnya. Jika Dia adalah sang penanam, balaslah cintanya bukan karena niat untuk manusia melainkan pada-Nya.

Ketika seseorang benar-benar yakin bahwa ia telah jatuh cinta, seharusnya ia tak pernah peduli dengan apa yang telah ia korbankan. Sejatinya pengorbanan itu bukan dilakukan untuk manusia, melainkan karena-Nya. Persoalan manusia itu membalas atau tidak, bukanlah kapastitas kita. Itu urusan Tuhan.

Yang aku tahu, ketika cinta terbalas oleh manusia, sejatinya yang membalas adalah Tuhan, Dia hanya menggunakan manusia sebagai perantara. Jadi, tak usah kau risaukan pada sebuah balasan. Yakinlah janji Tuhan selalu benar.

The Passover

Joyeuse Pâques !

Instead of saying 'Happy Easter', I prefer to greet you with 'Happy Passover'. Originally, the word 'passover' comes from a Hebrew word 'Pesach'. The word 'Pesach' is also adopted in some other languages such as 'le Pâques' (France) and 'Paskah' (Indonesian). While the term of 'Easter' was derived from the Anglo-Saxon 'Eostre', which is the name of the goddess of spring.

The Passover is not only the day of feast, but the day of reflection. 

I woke up this morning and felt like I'm having such a new spirit; a pretty unusual feeling that I rarely feel. It's like the fusion of joy, thankfulness, spirit, and optimism all in one. Not because of the celebration, but deep inside I know that today is a victorious day. The day when there're no more ransom to be paid; when all that matters are the redemption and love. The day of freedom.

The Passover is not merely the annual celebration. The essence of Passover is one thing we must find out within ourselves. You must first pervading the sense, then doing the thing. Do not be the slave of the custom. 

So, have you found out what The Passover means to you?
